Nature. The world’s best science and medicine. Nature is one thing that makes the world strong, healthy and peaceful. People look at nature in many different things like flowers, trees, lakes, oceans, rivers, tides, waves, waterfalls, fishes, birds, and animals. Before the sun rises, people wake up early to go for morning walks to take a deep breath and breathe the fresh air that gives a person a sense of peace. This is nature.
When the word nature comes in mind, people think of things that look natural in appearances. Nature is something that God has made. Nature is beautiful the way it is, and that is why we like keeping our things natural. I am from India. I migrated to the United States of America for my further education. Back then when I lived in India, I used to live in a hill station far away from the popular city Bombay. I used to live in Panchgani, a beautiful hill station. Panchgani was filled with nature. There are loads of mountains in Panchgani, and the houses are built on top of the mountains. When I moved to America, it was even more beautiful, as it was organized, and clean; the roads had good alignment, less of traffic and more of greenery everywhere. I was so happy to come to America, as America has taught me how to keep the environment clean, how to keep the country clean, and how to keep the place where we live in clean. That is when I made up my mind that I will take part in volunteering in parks, houses that need greenery, and also make the country look good and natural, and full of nature. Parents take their children to parks, beaches, and lakes. Parents want their children to see nature and see how beautiful God has made the world. God has made the world, now it is our turn to maintain it. I think it is important to keep places like parks clean, as children play the most in parks. They have fun looking at the greenery and sit on swings, slides and merry-go-rounds. I go to a park everyday and read my books as there is fresh air, and beautiful winds comes and pass by. The park I go to is Memorial Park in Texas. It’s a beautiful park that is besides a lake. There were dirty flowers on five of the trees that caught my eye. One day I called six of my friends, took some pair of gloves and some shovels and brought yellow flowers. My friends and I dug a hole and took the flowers out. We cut all the dirty flowers, and also trimmed the trees, where some of the leaves were dead. I filled the hole with seeds, and started pouring water on it every day. After three months I saw beautiful flowers not all the way sprouted. My friends and I worked on the trees and flowers for three hours for a month. I showed my mother what I had done. She did not say anything, but had embraced me and smiled. I was very happy to see myself do something good for the environment. Volunteering is one of my hobbies, and helping the world and the people is just my passion. Seeing smiles on others faces make me happy. There was a small child who was admiring the flowers. I smiled to myself.
I think it is important to help and keep the environment clean, as it is the betterment for our future. One should volunteer as we do it for our country and the country we live in. This project helped me to make the world happy and see beautiful smiles on children’s’ faces. It helped me to make a park better, where everyone goes and gets a little peace. This project helped me realize that nothing is impossible in life. If a person is determined to get what they want, they will work hard for it, no matter what it takes!
