For this project we cleaned the river in our area and the parks surrounding it. We got a couple tons of trash including shopping carts, CD players, bikes, balls. It was not my project but I helped participate in it with other organizations. Jmu was involved and the fish and wildlife center, and DEQ. We spent a couple of hours cleaning about 4 parks and the river near my neighbor's house. It was on September 11th, 2009.
