Hi, my name is Jeffrey and I live in Florida, USA. There are many issues that go on in my community. One major one is pollution. Pollution in my community is a big problem and no one is taking it seriously. All the lakes and parks near my neighborhood are filthy due to citizens' lack of respect and care. For example there use to be a lake in my community where people could go fishing but now it's full of litter, garbage, and all sorts of pollution that you could not even imagine. In fact this place is no longer used for fishing but used for disposal of waste by people. Just recently I have started a neighborhood cleanup team that is dedicated to the removal of wastes from the park and the lake. This cleanup has been going on for over a month and now the lake is usable and people are once again able to catch fish. I believe that one person can change a lot. No matter how small the issue is, people should never be afraid to act on their actions, especially if it is a good cause. Hence, I can now enjoy the lake and park in my community and hope that it will stay this way all the time.
