This was a project in which I was in charge of organizing and carrying out for my eagle scout project. We built bat boxes in hopes that in later years bat population would increase, lowering the need for chemical sprays in the area. The wildlife area which is surrounded by housing development is prime nesting ground for mosquito's. So this project seemed to me a perfect opportunity to not only assist in helping conserve the natural habitat, but also to assist in healthier living for the individuals living in the area
