As a steward for the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, I must go on patrols to check for ecological signs of distress, whether it be caused by time, weather or people in order to fix and preserve these mountains. In this photo, I am pointing out erosion within the trail that will need to be fixed for the safety of hikers, bikers, and equine riders.
