The point of this project was not to do any clean up, but rather to immerse oneself with in the environment. I know, it sounds like we were trying to be hippies been "one with nature" but truthfully you can not full appreciate the ecosystem that we all live around with out truly experiencing it. This is why we did these trips. Often we would go off the beaten path, exploring the undisturbed parts of the woods. Discovering scenic and beautiful spots that gives one goosebumps.


One day I hope that when I become a science teacher, I can have the opportunity to share the wonders that nature has for us all to discover. It is this way, we all can inspire others to take part in helping the cause of preserving what is around us.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but I would advise to look at the Leave No Trace guidelines if you have not, just to prevent the degrading of the environment you are in.
