My name is Lawrence Kayima from Entebbe, Uganda. I am the Chairman Green Youth Conservation Uganda. We a nonprofit community based youth conservation organization working on 7 projects including fruit tree planting on the road reserves in Entebbe city. Entebbe is a peninsular with 56.2 square kilometers with a population of over 970,000 people living here. Our population is growing so fast and as it grows people are clearing trees and forests for buildings.of which these trees have been providing habitat for our wild animals and birds, and food.the only free land we are left with where we can plant trees is the road reserves and am looking for funds which is going facilitate the volunteers, and to buy seedling and other needs. The history of our city says it was a rain forest, so our dream is make it as green as possible.
