I am a active student in a leadership program named Jeter's Leaders and I'm a current junior in the program. Last summer we went to New Orleans for our yearly Social Change Project. We worked on a Boys and Girls club that was still in recovery from the hurricane and a senior citizens home. We stayed there for almost a week and we also did many other great activities. We got to meet victims of the hurricane and see how it had affected their lives. The picture i included is a picture of the day we were at the senior citizens home. We made flower beds, picnic tables, and checkers tables for them. Everyone there was really appreciative of what we were doing and it was really a great experience for me!
