One of our Earth Club projects we had in our school was called "The Unplug It Campaign." Everyday, we would make sure that every electronic and computer was unplugged and turned off in order to save energy. Saving energy saves money and reduces green house gases. By reducing green house gases, we are protecting our ozone layer. If we kept our electronics plugged in, the carbon dioxide that each computer is creating contributes to Global Warming. Our project consisted of hanging up signs around the computer out of recycled paper to remind other students and teachers to save our planet and unplug the computer.
