This picture shows an example of the litter we found in the beautiful Hubbard Park and trails leading up to the castle at the top of the park. Hubbard Park covers 1800 acres in all. We enjoy this park year round; in winter we ice skate and watch the Christmas lights on the pond and in the warmer months, we hike and play with the ducks. We wanted to help make our favorite park cleaner and nicer for everyone to enjoy. And maybe make people think twice about littering. We cleaned up all the litter at the playground, picnic areas, pond, fountains and waterfall. Then we hiked up to the castle to clean up some more. It was a great day and the park sparkled when we left.
