I have always been an environmentalist, ever since I was a little girl. I love the environment and strive to make it better and safer for everyone. In September I got a group together to plant trees near the coast. Because of erosion and hurricanes our Louisiana coastline has been drastically reduced causing the severity of hurricanes to be increased. My group planted quick rooting seedlings to hold the soil and ultimately aid in the protection and rebuilding of our coastline. I am a very proud environmentalist and want to help protect my coastline because without it many species will loose their habitats, homes will be flooded, and entire ecosystems will be ruined. I a doing my best as a student and environmentalist to make sure that their is a Louisiana for as long as I live.
