As part of volunteer club at my high school, we did a service project to clean up our campus grounds. By gathering students to help us with our project, we were able to clean the grounds for litter.
Volunteering for organizations such as Keep Austin Beautiful inspired me to keep my high school beautiful. So once a month we do a campus cleanup where students bring trash bags and gloves and walk around campus picking up trash. We help the environment and janitors by doing this. As well as collecting trash on campus, we also tend to the gardens at my school. We make sure there are no leaves or trash covering the flowers and that the gardens are in a healthy condition.
Volunteer club contributes to Austin High School's campus as well as Austin as a city. Students that keep their schools beautiful also keep the city and world looking beautiful.
