In May 28 of 2017 I went to a field trip to Indy Urban Acres with my junior class of AP Environmental Science organized by my favorite teacher Lauren Wyatt, to learn about the sustainable practices of this non-profit agricultural organization.
We learned about the processes performed, and helped to plant herbs and vegetables.
Being able to be around nature, and feel the purity of creating life by planting food, was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Along with this experience, signing up to the AP Environmental Science class, was one of the best decisions I have ever taken. I already knew what my passions were towards to. The beauty and poetry of environmental biological processes of life, but with this class, I obtained the knowledge that I needed to decide about what I want to be doing for the rest of my life, and that is thanking nature back for providing me with life.
