I love the environment! My little brother and his team love baseball! The baseball park is by the river I love. The baseball park and the river park are covered in trash. The above seems like different problems and different solutions but that is just not so.

After the little guys' baseball season, I recruited them along with others who decided to join us and we decided to make a difference together. With permission from the city and parents, we set out on two consecutive days and cleaned the parks. Bags and bags of trash were collected. The State Park Wildlife Division donated goody bags for the children to their joyous surprise. We talked about the importance of keeping our World clean and how we are all in this together. Is was a grand success.

I have brains in my head. I have feet in my shoes. I can steer myself any direction I choose. Iím on my own. And I know what I know. And I am the gal whoíll decide where to go. Iíll look up and down streets. Look Ďem over with care. About some I will say, ďI donít choose to go there.Ē With my head full of brains and my shoes full of feet, Iím too smart to go down any not-so good street. Iíll get mixed up, of course, and I already know. Iíll get mixed up with many strange birds as I go. So I will be sure when I step. Step with care and great tact and remember that Lifeís a Great Balancing Act. Iíve never forget to be dexterous and deft. And never mix up my right foot with my left. And I will succeed? Yes! I will, indeed! (98 and ĺ percent guaranteed.) Oh the Places I will go! I will move mountains!.......with just a little help from my friend Dr. Suess, and the little guys on the local youth baseball team.
