My school- one of the most "Green" schools of Kazakhstan
What is the concept of "Green" school for me? Green School Is a school in which students, teachers and parents understnd the seriousness of the current environmental problems of humanity. All Together, we should conduct the various activities on preservation of the environment. For example, we can plant trees, clean up the garbage, which causes harm to the environmen, to conduct explanatory conversations about environmental problems, run composting program to remove non-native plants for the preservation of the natural environment, to carry out explanatory work with the population, and so on.
My school i one of many in Kazakhstan. Nevertheless, it is in our school nead a range of different cases to improve the ecology of our native land. I believe that this is a very correct decision- to engage in multiple projeicts in complex, because in this way we can solve a wider range of environmental issues and improve the ecological condition of the nature of my town faster.
So what are the activities for the conservation of the environment carried our by our school? In the spring, we have implemented the project "it is a free" and planted the frees around the playground of our school. It all started with the that seedlings of trees were brought to us, as well as all the fertilizers, which district administration brought to our school tree of charge. Of course, we had to work very hard. It took a few days. We worked in the non-academic time. However, I believe that the improvement of our native settlement is an important reason to spend some of our spare time for useful work. First, we dug pits. Boys carried our this work, because it is hard work. We had some difficulties with the ground, but we managed. At that time, the girls watched the seedlings were not killed, pouring the roots with water. The next day we got together and started to work. First, we added all necessary fertilizers and then were divided into pairs and started planting frees. Each pair had two pits, that is, each pair planted two trees. Today, more than twenty young trees grow well in the territory of our school. I believe that we have brought enormous benefit to our trees will grow up and will please with its beauty the students, the teachers and the passer-by.
The second environmental project in our school is the garbage collection on the banks of the Ishim River. We called it "Breathe, our river". The Ishim River is of great is of importance in Kazakhstan, as it provides with water a large number of towns and villages, and the most important, the capital of Kazakhstan- Astana. Therefore, the ecological state of the river Ishim excites not only the residents of our settlement, but also many people. I am very upset when a various garbage is dumped in the river, which then lies on the banks of the river. And, presicely, this garbage we decided to clean. We spent a lot of time to clean up a relatively small section of the riverbank. This is a great contribution to the ecological state of the river Ishim. In addition to the main goal, we have pursued an additional gpal: to draw people's attention on the state of the riverbanks.
The third event of our school was dedicated to work with a population. Every month we go our to the streets of our native settlements and hand our the leaflets telling about the environmental problems of Kazakhstan as a whole and about the problems of our region. It seems that this project has less to do with environmental issues, but personally, I think it is most important. There is a beautiful expression of "pure, not where is constantly clean, but where do not litter". It is important to teach people to respect nature, to raise environmental awareness from an early age.
I hope that children, young people, and the older generation will begin to follow us as an example, and will begin tj activety engage in environmental activities on the environment preservation. If we do the improvement of our native land, we can easily cope with any difficulties and preserve the natural beauty of the land for future generations.
