On November 16th, 2013, over 100 students from all around the Atlanta area came together with one goal in mind- to serve and show love to the city of Clarkston, GA. Clarkston is known to be the most culturally diverse square mile in America for refugees, as said by Time Magazine, with a little over 8,000 people in population. The organizations "Project Live Love" and "Flood Student Missions" teamed up together to create this service project. Together collectively as a group, we helped the city of Clarkston by assisting in the community garden, by planting bushes and trees at an apartment building, and by spreading mulch and cleaning the nature trail at Indian Creek Elementary School.
