Anchor Cleans Up Foss Park

The Anchor Program went trash picking at Foss Park on a very cold Friday afternoon. It was on November 11, 2005 Veteran's Day. We worked long and hard to help the city of Somerville stay clean and healthy. We picked up papers, bottle caps, beer bottles, candy wrappers and plastic bags. It was tough and gross work, but the three of us stuck by it because we knew it would make Somerville a better place to live in. After we cleaned up the park it made us feel proud that we accomplished a tremendous goal for our environment.
