A Community Biased Turtle Conservation Project in our maritime area is aimed at encouraging both the unemployed and uneducated youths to participate in community projects while allowing them ownership where as in so many remote parts of Papua New Guinea the youths do not have access to basic services to help them grow while enjoying their youth.
With this project being introduced lately and apart from conservation we will be engaged in general beach clean ups and dump them in dug out pits to avoid our turtles choking from plastics or the same rubbish being washed ashore on other neighboring islands.
And to maintain our health standards by avoiding more flies who do carry germs we must always bury our rubbish.
