This morning I had a great experience going to Sycamore Canyon Wilderness park. I had found a lot of harmful things that had effected this beautiful park and I helped in cleaning it up. I had found a lot of news paper and plastic rappers and water bottles on the ground, and it made me learn more about the nature that surrounded me. I always pass by this park and never gave a thought to what wondrous things that lie in it. After I went into the park I found a plant I had never seen before and after I had researched some plants on the internet and I found out it was a castor plant and that castor oil is used for medicinal purposes. Also there are a lot of water ways that this park provides, because the path creates a way to other wilderness regions where the water from this park creates a lot more trees. Through out this trip I saw a lot of beautiful mountains and different kinds of ants which you cannot see in the house, and we saw them carrying food to the mounds which they had made, and it was so fascinating how much one ant can carry, and how the team works is so interesting. This adventure through the park made me appreciate nature around us, and how thankful that we have this beauty around us.
