WHAT IS YOUR COMMUNITY PROJECT ABOUT?
Diana: It is about cleaning and helping your school. Some people can not help because they need to go home take care of their children. We are doing a big part in school communities just by doing something to help the world.
WHY DID YOU DO A SCHOOL CLEAN UP? Diana and Melissa: Because the person who cleans up the Parlin School needs to do the entire school and thatâ€™s really hard. So this is the reason we helped by cleaning up the bathroom and the trash. Trash effects the bugs and flowers and other little things. Trash covers the flowers, smells bad, and goes into the air. Jaydin: I wanted to help my school because I thought it will be fun and it turned out to be fun. I had lots of fun cleaning things with my friend. You could try new things like I did. Cleaning up is a fun thing to do when you are board and you have no TV. We cleaned up Ms. Mc Geeâ€™s class, bathroom and my friend Emily was vacuuming the library. Diana was cleaning and I was doing the vacuum. It was super fun!
HOW DID YOU DECIDE ON A SCHOOL CLEAN UP AS A COMMUNITY PROJECT? Melissa: With my friends and the rest of the Girl Scouts we decided to clean up the Parlin School. It was gross. The gross thing about it was when me and Gabriela cleaned up the boys bathroom.
WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE SCHOOL CLEAN UP? Gabriela: Mc Geeâ€™s classroom was fun. I love vacuuming! I vacuum the second floor.
WHAT DID YOU LEARN BY DOING A SCHOOL CLEAN UP? Jaydin: I learned cleaning helps the janitors. It was hard but I still had fun.
HOW WILL THIS SCHOOL CLEAN UP HELP YOUR SCHOOL? Gabriela: It will make the school better. It will be cleaner. HOW DID THE CLEAN UP HELP THE ENVIRONMENT? Jaydin: It helps the environment because the animals can breath the air when we clean up the school. It looks good when you see it.
