During the 911 Unity Walk on Massachusetts Avenue in Washington D.C. our Sikh Temple and local Environment groups planted baby trees in the the temples front lawn and taught us how to maintain and take care of each tree. The National Gurdwara had received a total of twenty trees in which the temples congregation joined together with volunteers to plant and water. Every Sunday after the temple service I always check the soil of the tree and make sure they have enough water as a part of the youth tree protection group.
