In the desert, there aren't many plants. The ground is devoid of all plantlife. I chose to plant a native flower in my backyard because I feel that Arizona should have more plants. Though my backyard is a very small part of Arizona, growing plants in my backyard is a step closer for many thriving plants. By doing this I am taking care of the land I live on. Which is important because it is probably where I will be living at for a few more years.
By adding this plant to the soil of Arizona, though it is small it will make a huge impact on the air, wildlife, and plantlife. Thanks to this project I am inspired to continue to grow more plants in my backyard and hopefully it will become a garden.
