Five volunteers from my school went on a river walk to collect trash. We went with a few teachers and joined other groups from the city of Azusa. Then we walked 2 miles, picking up trash as we went. This picture is a picture of me walking along a distant branch of the river. Most of the time we had bags and gloves, but at this point I was just skimming the coast and not expecting to find anything.
Although there was no planning on my part, there were many other ecologist projects I participated in, such as planting 20 trees over a period of 2 years.
