I did a project on littering cigarette butts. I did some research and found out that cigarette butts wash into water and pollute it. Animals also think that the butts are food. The chemicals can poison the animals and even kill them. Cigarette butts are the most littered object. We found 16 butts in a 8 foot by 8 foot area.
