I am Guranda from Georgia, I am 21 and live with my parents in a village called Green Cape, near town Batumi. I often go to the church that is at the entrance of the town, it is very old building, it used to be a castle in the mid centuries but than it was remade as a church. This church is located on the hill and is quite small one, it has lawns around it, but they were bare until my friends and I didn't decide to plant some trees in them, my father is an Agronomist and he gave us different plants and helped us to plant them in correct way. The plants we took there are: Agaves, Japan laurel (Aucuba japonica), spruces (Picea Link), iuniperus (Juniperus),fir(Abies), loguat (Eriobotria japonica), kalistemon, and box(buxus). All of these trees are now growing in the lawns and we are looking after them. We also removed the big stones that were useless. Now it looks far more better and we are all proud that we took some part in getting the church surroundings better.
