Being undeclared in Natural Sciences is important to me because since elementary school I have been fascinated by chemical reactions, how the environment is affected by pollution and what humanity can do to reverse the negative effects of climate change. I know these are all related and I want to be in the room when the decisions are made about how to fight against climate change. I once won an award from the city of Philadelphia Water Company on a campaign I led about recycling in the city. They used my small groups video to share with local schools to educate other Philadelphia students about safe, clean, water. Taking AP Biology helps me understand how organisms work together and being in the ecology club for years reassures me that I'm pursuing the right goal. We are running out of time to fix the planet and I plan to be part of the solutions.
