For this project, I made my town, Wallingford, CT, a National Pollinator Pathway. I managed a plot in the Community Garden where I first started my pollinator garden. I removed all invasive species, tilled the soil and planted pollinator plants. I used recycled materials to make my own gate and raised beds. After I reached out to my local Conservation Commission and we collected a list of properties that would be approved by the National Pollinator Pathway. After we reached out to the National Pollinator Pathway we waited a few months and got notice that were a certified Pollinator Pathway town. We got signs for all 12 properties even got interviewed for our town's magazine.
