Water You Doing? was an art exhibition hosted by Green Club members at our school. This event was created to raise awareness about ocean debris and human impact on marine life. As an art exhibition, about 50 student-made artworks were hung on the walls in the lobby near the snack shop area where many middle and high school students pass by. We were able to raise donation throughout the three weeks of art display as well as receive personal feedback/comment regarding our community's thoughts on marine debris. The event was overall very successful as almost everyone in our school community became aware of marine debris and human impact on the ocean. We were also able to recruit some new members to our club. It was a very meaningful experience both for Green Club members and our school community.
