BEING REPORT ON ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION. This project was carried out ON 8TH OF JULLY 2011 at ZAI quarter area of Jigawa State Nigeria. this exercise was schedule to combat a malaria and others diseases and to ensure a conducive environment in the community was a successful one with the turnout of some of community members and in conjunction with Jigawa State waste management agency. (JISEPA) to evacuate the waste after the cleaning up of the focus area.
Thus,sensitization was given before and after the project to community member on waste disposal and management to ensure a sustainable environment in there community.
LIMITATION. 1) inadequate sponsorship to provide waste bin and other facilities needed for the exercise.
2.) low turnout of community members which limit the trend of the exercise.
RECOMMENDATION
1. reorientation of community member on waste disposal and management.
2. government should establish waste monitoring agency to enforce environmental law and waste disposal in the state.
3. the community,state should chose a day either in a month or weeks for environmental sanitation.
CONCLUSION.
Base on the trial above to sustainable environment, i conclude that, if more support and individuals join the campaign on waste management and disposal and by joining forces with concerned community, diseases and pollution will have no home dwell.
